I have been on several trips with small travel agencies and I have to admit that I didn’t always feel like acquiring any additional value from the guide and the trip program. Contrary to this, Jan Skwara proved to me that I wouldn’t be able to experience so much on my own!

The photo trip to India turned out to be an unforgettable experience thanks to the knowledge and experience of the trip leader and tutor – Jan Skwara. Thanks to Jan’s contacts with local people we had a totally unique opportunity to meet representatives of the mysterious Aghori sect. It isn’t accessible for every tourist and traveler!

The trip was designed to let us participate in the local variations of the Holi color festival, so it was not a boring sightseeing, but a real Indian experience!

An additional advantage of the trip was the photo course, during which Jan shared his skills, tips and inspired us with his authentic passion.

I have no words to describe the photo trip to India in 2018. Jan is a gem, a diamond of professionalism, caring, personal culture, organization, enthusiasm, with a fantastic sense of humor, an extraordinary sense of duty (he did his best even suffering from an Indian disease – believe me, it seemed very serious) and the ability to create unique trips not reachable for an ordinary tourist. I know, that my oppinion may seem biased. So you could see Jan’s trips for yourselves.

And so it happened! I fell in love with India at first sight, even though I expected rather difficult beginning… Nothing more wrong. Although India may seem intimidating and even overwhelming with its vastness and multitude of sounds, smells and stimuli, after the trip I want to go back there as soon as possible. This is for sure thanks to Jan, his sincere passion and the twinkle in his eye when he tells his Indian stories (and he is a great storyteller!). He has a unique gift for winning people over – locals (thanks to which we also had the opportunity to experience everyday life… and unusual things too 😉), participants, and integration of the group. The organization of the whole tour, despite the unpredictability of India, was exemplary, we followed each activity mentioned in the offer and did even more. Despite the tight schedule, there was enough time to pay attention to the needs of the participants. In addition, there is a fruitful photographic aspect of the trip. Jan chose the best photospots for our classes and always offered advice or suggestions regarding the composition, camera settings and approach to the subject.
All these advantages made me looking through the Jan’s offer for next year even before the end of the trip, and my backpack is already waiting to be packed again for the next flight to India… And maybe not only there 🙂

I am writing this with full conviction, my head is full of unique memories and my heart is lighted up – if you want to see India, do it only with Jan Skwara! During the “Pearls of India” expedition you will see larger and smaller cities, gypsy villages, colorful temples, snow-covered Himalayan peaks, the starry sky over the desert, famous ceremonies on the Ganges and, of course, the pearl of Indian architecture – Taj Mahal. What’s even more interesting, and what you won’t read in the tour program, is that from the very first moment of the trip you will be fully immersed in the local atmosphere. It will create an amazing adventure. Speeding rickshaws. Tiny shops. Holy cows. The sounds of horns. Street food. The silence of the desert. The adrenaline of rafting. Prayers of the faithful. The clatter of the train. Keeping balance during yoga. People’s smiles. Colors, contrasts, order of chaos. And during the expedition you will be accompanied by the irreplaceable Jan, an extremely warm and cordial man who describes India iin a truly interesting way and with a twinkle in his eye, reacts calmly to all unexpected situations (and there are a lot of such situations in India) and will whet your appetite for more trips with him 😍

I’ve joined one expedition with Jan so far (photography workshops) and I hope it wasn’t my last time. Full professionalism in preparation and management. I saw a lot, learned a lot and met a lot of wonderful people 🙂 Jan Skwara is a wonderful person, traveler and great photographer who willingly and skillfully shares his passions, talents and knowledge.
