Health Contraindications

1. Diseases in the period of acute and subacute exacerbation of symptoms.
2. Mental disorders that make it hard to communicate.
3. Malignant tumors with cancer pain.
4. Circulatory system diseases:
   • ischemic heart disease (IHD);
   • coronary artery disease (CAD);
   • myocardial infarction (less than 6 months before depatrure);
   • cardiac and aortic aneurysm;
   • aneurysm of large arteries;
   • heart failure (IIA and above);
   • cardiac arrhythmia: atrial fibrillation, tachycardia, premature depolarisation (excitation) of the ventricles;
   • hypertensive disease of 3 degree (blood pressure above 180/110 mmHg).
5. Respiratory system diseases:
   • bronchial asthma;
   • bronchiectasis of 2 and 3 degree;
   • respiratory failure of 2 and 3 degree (shortness of breath longer than 28 minutes in a calm state);
   • hemoptysis;
   • allergy to plants, pollen;
   • tuberculosis in active state.
6. Liver diseases:
   • viral hepatitis (acute and subacute);
   • other diseases causing liver failure.
7. Kidney diseases:
   • glomerulonephritis (acute and subacute, in acute exacerbation);
   • pyelonephritis (in exacerbation of symptoms);
   • nephrolithiasis (with an attack of renal colic);
   • chronic renal failure (1-3 degrees).
8. Endocrine diseases with serious dysfunction.
9. Diabetes in a state of metabolic decompensation.
10. Deep vein thrombosis (DVT), other thromboses, tendency toward excessive blood clotting.
11. Tendency toward hemorrhage of various etiologies.
12. Glaucoma.
13. Blood diseases:
    • anemia of moderate and high degree;
    • idiopathic thrombocytopenia;
    • haemophilia;
    • leukemia and other diseases of the hematopoietic system.
14. Joint diseases:
    • ankylosis (knee and spine);
    • osteoarthritis (with serious dysfunction);
    • bone and joint tuberculosis.
15. Digestive system diseases:
    • peptic ulcer disease in the acute stage and 3 weeks persisting: pain, nausea, vomiting, bleeding.
16. Infectious diseases.
17. Pregnancy (relative contraindication, depending on the condition).
18. Purulent inflamation regardless of location.
19. Epilepsy (with serious attacks).
20. Fever of unknown cause.
21. Rheumatic diseases with pathological changes in the joints and bones and causing heart defects.
